Question 800 number

I have an 800 number for my online business through Sprint but I'd like to get a new one from another company. Searching Google it looks like there a lot of choices and they are pretty much all cheaper and more fully-featured than what I have. All I really want is all calls made to my new 800 number to go directly to voice mail for me to check later. Can anyone recommend one? Also, it doesn't need to be an "800" number. 877 or 866 is fine. I'm in the US.

To be honest, I've been wanting to look into this, but I never had the motivation to go out and look for a decent supplier. Voice Nation looks like a reputable company that provides some really affordable prices.

I think I'm going to have to go with them when I decide to mess with it - though $0.07 per minute does sound like a lot...

800 numbers will be dead before you know it. With the rise of free long distance, or low-priced calling plans - many people no longer worry about long distance numbers.

^^ IN a way, I've got to disagree with you on that ed... the reason why is because even though long-distance and all of that, there is one thing that is effecting that... and that reason being many people get 800 number's to "mask" where their location is by forwading the 800 number to their phone.

My opinion, I don't think its styling out anytime soon.

BTW... off topic but has anybody ever made an attempt to have both a VoIP and a regular phone system. Like having a Verizon phone, and a VoIP (to basically assign you 2 different numbers and such?) Was thinking about taking incoming phone calls on my radio station later this summer.

Make sure you use a well established company, several months ago the company I got my number from disapeared - although the number was still mine it was quite a hassle finding a company that could take control of it for me.

^^ Nice company Robert...

BTW: Still awaiting an answer to my question that I am having concerns for. Can I have a VoIP phone and a regular landline phone and be able to talk on both (as if they were seperate lines?) I am thinking about purchasing a VoIP for my business so I won't have to equal out my home number for my business (God thats a no no)
