Default Blackberry

It's official (sort of) that the PTO has rejected the last of the NTP patents against Research in Motion and Blackberry is not getting "shut down." That's great news for me, because I'm now going to get myself a Blackberry. I was wondering if anyone here has one and, if so, which model do you have and what do you think of it?

Here's the news from SlashDot:

Quote:
"The PTO has rejected the last of the NTP patents against Research in Motion. On top of this, Judge Spencer has decided that Blackberry service won't be shut down today, but he will issue a decision on the injunction 'as soon as reasonably possible.' RIM CEO Jim Balsillie just said on CNBC that it's 'quite possible' that NTP won't see any settlement from RIM at all now."

I don't know much about Blackberries, but I would like one eventually as well. I think it would be really nice to be able to do my email from anywhere I wanted to. I also like how it can also act as a phone. My cell phone's 2 year plan ends in a month or so, so I'll probably check out Blackberry shortly there after.

That's exactly why I want one. They act as a great phone, address book, calendar, and email client in one. I've only waited until now before seriously thinking about buying one because of the patent decision. Now that I know that it's almost decided that RIM isn't going to have to lose their service, I'm going to go out and purchase one after deciding which to buy.
