| Re: business plan, by me or by a pro? By "business plan" you mean promoting your site? If you mean that, then you don't need a pro, you can find all the information for free, you just have to be patient and read a lot |

| Re: business plan, by me or by a pro? There are really good business plan guides or books available where actually hiring a professional coach wouldn't be required.
Do an Amazon.com search........

| Re: business plan, by me or by a pro? Do have a clear idea of what you mean by "business plan". Some people interpret a business plan as the steps they have to do to improve their marketing strategy. Others may even interpret it as the financial-gathering aspect of the business.
However, the truth is that a "business plan" is a detailed and manage agenda, a game plan if you will, of your company's growth in the following months or years to come. Here, you keep track of your goals per time frame, if you meet these goals, and if you are earning well. There are very helpful software out there that will help you make a business plan. You don't need a coach to do it either, maybe just talk to a business consultant or two who knows about small businesses.
There are also blogs and forums that can help you make and detail your plans, so keep in touch and look out for them.
Good Luck! |

| Re: business plan, by me or by a pro? Sounds like ornel1 is talking about a business plan to launch a business and to get money to do it by attracting investors. Yes, you will need a business plan but you will need a business plan that answers the questions that investors are wanting to have answered. So, yes, you will need to consult a professional to get those answers. Or, at least consult with your local SBA group.

| Re: business plan, by me or by a pro? By business plan we mean formal statement of a set of business goals, the reasons why they are believed attainable, and the plan for reaching those goals. It may also contain background information about the organization or team attempting to reach those goals.
The business goals being attempted may be for-profit or non-profit. For-profit business plans typically focus on financial goals. Non-profit and government agency business plans tend to focus on service goals.
Business plans may also target changes in perception and branding by the customer, client, tax-payer, or larger community. A business plan that has changes in perception and branding as its primary goals is called a marketing plan.
So one have to make a business plan before starting any business.. |
