Alright Daniel, way to go. About the name change... the name seems fine to me but if you feel the must, then all you have to do is simply alert HostReview of it and they'll make the changes I believe. | |

As for the name change, it was mainly about perception. When you hear 'GlobalWebBrands', you don't have a clue what business we're in. CheapFastHost not only tells you what we do, but also tells you the market we cater to - small and mid-size businesses with budgets to match their sizes. Also, since I am no longer doing Web design, management, SEO, etc (trying to simplify things and regain my sanity!), there was really no need to keep the other name. The new name also helps with search engine keyword rankings. I am still using GlobalWebBrands as the name on the bank account, etc, but that will change too sometime soon. | |

I plan to call them up on Monday and explain the name change - what's funny is I think the change happened on the exact day (June 1st) that the award was granted! | |

Thanks!  I actually have been receiving quite a few clicks. Unfortunately, I have no tracking cookie set, so I cannot be sure whether folks signup because of this award or not. But at the very least, it increases brand awareness! | |

That is good I guess, about the GlobalWebBrands as your bank account name, be sure to alert your customers that "GlobalWebBrands" is what their credit card or checking accounts (if you offer checking) will be billed as, that a way they don't mistaken it for something else. | |

Actually, we use third-party billing, so it's always shown up as LiquidNet Ltd., so there's really no change there, which is good! | |
