Default Domain Offer - High enough?

Since people seem to be big domain owners in this forum I thought this would be a good question to post.

I got offered $400 for one of the domains I own, PartyCampus.com. Do you think I should take the offer or hold out for more?

I would suggest using DNForum for an appraisal, but I think mid-high XXX sounds good for it.

That's a great domain. I would appraise it at high $xxx.

Question you should really be asking is; "What's it worth to you?"..

That's also a good way to look at it.

I think $400 is a good price for just the domain, if no website is attached.

I would take it as you could invest that money into buying a new profitable website.

If you think you can make more money on it either through selling the domain or through a website with the domain, ask for more.

Just for the domain name, I also think the mid $XXX is about right, so the offer sounds good. It is a great domain name, but unless you plan to develop it yourself, you might as well make some quick cash to invest in your own business (or to buy more great domain names to sell).

I don't think it's necessarily going to appreciate in value much higher if you hang on to it. The only suggestion I would offer is that it might go for a bit higher if you were selling it just before school starts in the fall, but that's just a guess. I usually prefer to take the cash when it's offered rather than gamble on it perhaps going higher, 'cause it could also go lower
