I find that most of the time people dont profit on domains.
So people who buy them for no reason are just wasting their money really.

That's true. I've bought a few domains in the past only to sell them to Proboards.com, but that was my intention. You see, they have several severs. Somewhere near 100. They offer free forum systems. I went ahead and bought the next 3 servers (at the time). They paid good money for them.

i registered a few domains that I had no intention of developing at the time because they were nice names, I knew people were sellings names of comparible quality, and if I ever decided to make sites about the topics the domains cover I would potentially save alot of money.

Sure I would sell those domains for the right price, but the main reason for registering was to have a good domain for future expansions

Ok, let me get this straight by applying you guys' domain name logic to real estate: if you want a house and someone else has bought it, but is offering to sell it to you, you get pissed off? ? ? Where's the logic behind that?
