I actually heard this a few weeks before it was announced. The merger is HUGE for the dedicated server market. It's going to be very difficult for other companies to be able to enter the Dallas, Texas market.

Could this merger spark of a round of other mergers in this industry?? Well, as a consumer myself, I want the best price and best support. Hopefully this will somehow help to stir the market up.

Nevertheless, I still prefer to see lots of competetions out there, with them fighting to provide their best to consumers like me..hehee

old news, but I hope theplanet becomes more like EV1, not EV1 becomming more like theplanet. I've had an issue with theplanet, but they arnt bad (no where near as bad as tuilip!)
