I'm with Spencer on this one - the freedom to work when I want and how much I want/need to. Nobody looking over my shoulder and telling me what to do and when. Not that I didn't enjoy working at some of the places I have and have met some great people along the way, but it is really nice to be your own boss.

One thing I do enjoy is watching the stats on a website I work on. It's been great to see it grow from the start 2 years ago until now and see how many more people make it a place they go to for info. I also get a kick out of seeing how many more people have signed up for the newsletter every time I sit down to write the darn thing. So, results are a good thing and help keep you motivated to stick to business when you have to.
