What kind of site do you have. I own a consumer review website and I have had great success with adbrite.com, they provide banners for your site and you get paid when people click on them. They also have several other options, like text ad link boxes that you can put on your site and companies pay a daily, monthly, or weekly fee to have a text link ad on your site. I am working on putting a text ad link box on my site now.

Google Adsense might work too, but I know a lot of people have had trouble with them, including myself.

Good Luck

I also have a golf instruction website in the works. I'm hoping to turn it into sort of an Adsense money maker once it is launched. Haven't really figured out too many ways to monetize it, but it's something that's fun to me.

Affiliate marketing is a good way to go. If you're good at writing and are a tad bit creative, it's not the hardest thing in the world to do.

I do that on the side. It's not a bad rap to get started with.

You just have to find something you like doing, or else it starts to feel like a second job. Definitely something you want to avoid.
