Default How do you choose a product?

How do you choose a product to promote? I try adwords time to time and I do not loose money, but my profits are low all the time. I am still loooking for THAT product to promote ( mostly from clickbank and CJ )

How do you choose products ? Based on what? Fo you like hight paying sales? Cheap leads?

Choose a market. If you start at the product end you'll struggle if not fail. A hungry market will tell you what they want/need.


1 Market
2 Traffic
3 Conversion
4 Product


Do things in that order and you'll be WAY ahead of others who are learning.

To expand on how to do homework...

Here's a good little tip. Go to the bookstore, and grab a few different magazines, something you wouldn't normally read.

Now thumb through them and check out the ads. This is what people are buying in these markets. Marketers do TONS of research before placing their expensive ads. You can take advantage of this because the research is already done for you.

Now find an ad. Say it's a watch ad.

Now go to dmoz.org

Find watches (it will be under shopping - jewelry - watches)

Then you dig deep to find a niche in this market.

Presto! Now you have several hungry niches to choose from.

Find a high-velocity (or high-"gravity") affiliate product. (That's how you know there's a market.)

Build a quick-and-dirty little value-add, which you offer for free behind a contact squeeze.

From the squeeze, resolve to the product page via your aff link.

Buy keywords for and closely related to the main aff product name. Engage in other sneaky and not sneaky marketing tactics to build traffic.

Market other targeted aff products to the e-mail list you generate.

Rinse and repeat.
