I very much dislike "real" jobs, working for someone else.
But I fear I may have to resort to this if I can not have constant income from my own business.
If you were me, would you put more effort/promotion into your business at risk of still not earning more, or would you go out and get a job? |
There was a good like 4 month span (here recently) where I did freelance work for myself, basically up and quit my job. It started to go great but when I was working 80 hours a week and not making much (like you said) I started to get tired of it. Right towards the end I got to the point where I could barely afford any food from the grocery store. At that point a new job opened up (a great opprotunity) and I got my bills caught up. That was about 3 months ago, put in my two weeks earlier this week, and doors have been opening up all over the place.
I think it's a great motivating point to put yourself at that point where you need to jam stuff out just to survive, but of course this might not work if other people are relying on you.
