| Individual Targetting How would you feel if the contact form on your site was used to target you (with a product you could use) or the email address you kindly provide was used for the same purpose?
I'm beginning to consider emailing people who are running overly used wordpress themes with my barely used (not used in cases!), paid themes.
If I targetted you with an email like that, how would you feel?
Would you consider the product?
Would it form a poor impression about the entire website? |

| Re: Individual Targetting I'm confused as to what you mean. Do you mean going around and e-mailing people using generic wordpress themes and offering your themes to them? |

| Re: Individual Targetting No, it will still be considered spam. I have had experience with this. Trust me, you want to make sure that you have a right to contact these people before you do so. One rotten egg will spoil your whole business. |

If he was mass-mailing thousands of wordpress users then it would be a different story. |

| Re: Individual Targetting By law, it does not matter how many messages you send - whether it is one or one million, if someone reports it as spam, you're history.
He can proceed at his own risk, obviously. All I can do is offer advice from my experiences. But if it were me, I would not do it. |

Keep in mind that I'm not condoning spam though. |
