Ouch ... been there, done that with the wisdom teeth. I won't go into the gory details, but there's no way I could have worked anyway after mine were out. You were probably better off taking it easy, especially since the codeine would have made you not at your mental best

I used to have a laptop but sold it because I didn't use it often enough. I found I could borrow one from the office where I worked whenever I needed one for a vacation or trip out of town (whether or not it had to do with my job ... that was cool). Since I'm working on my own now, I find that when I go on vacation, I don't even want to look at a computer

so I don't think I'll be buying one very soon. Plus, I found it really hard to switch to typing on the laptop from a regular keyboard, so I'd always have to lug along a keyboard and mouse too which kind of defeats the purpose. Does anyone else have that problem with a laptop if you mainly work on a desktop setup?
