Default Marketing with Articles

Hello All,

I just wanted to share with you a marketing technique
that is not really new in the IM world, but thought it
might be a good idea to point it out anyhow.

I've been getting an increasing amount of traffic to
my site with article marketing. Just write an article
about something I enjoy or know something about
(most often internet marketing), submit it to a site.

Because of doing this, my articles (and therefore
web links and ads) are going around to other
people's sites for content.

It's actually becoming quite effective over time, and
the more I submit the more people use the articles
and see my site.

Just an FYI, in case you weren't familiar with this
technique.

Thanks for the tip Tonya I think most successful people online know the power on article marketing and I myself have had tremendous success with it. An article can be republished over many sites and even printed out tangibly ! All that movement for that article causes lots of views for your link making article marketing the most effective viral method to market online today (in my opinion) !

If you are someone who is struggling with earning some income with your affiliate program or business opportunity start article marketing TODAY and be patient , post to high traffic article sites such as EzineArticles, Go articles and Articles Base and you will get tons of targeted traffic. You can earn a living off of article marketing alone, I've seen many people do it... you can too!

It is my main source of marketing. Articles literal push traffic to your sites. You combine this with social bookmarketing and you are drawing visitors bigtime.

Article writing has been my main form of promoting my sites. I try and write two articles a week. Some people say to only post to pr4 and above article directories. I post to sites no matter what their pr is as long as they have categories that are relevant to my site. Some article directories weeks sometimes as long a month or a little longer to approve and post your article.

On the other hand directories with less pr get your articles posted sooner. This way your articles are continuously coming out. I get about 200 to 250 articles to my directory a day, but it takes a while to read through and approve them to be able to post them. You cannot just automatically approve all articles because a good amount are spam, or linked to some bizarre sites

Well just my thoughts...Great post though Tonyab

There is a page rank too located right on this forum if you haven't found it already , here is the link to find out your Google page rank Find your page rank here . There are many article directories out there but the ones that are the most effective in my opinion are listed below .

Articles Base
Go Articles
Article Alley
Ezine Articles

Thanks for your input, all!

I love this topic - I love to write, and
find that article marketing is right up
my alley.

Of all the places to post, EzineArticles.com
has become my favorite.

I have been writing articles forever. Years ago it was the #1 source for me to gain traffic and to get relevant links back to my website.

Lately what I have noticed is that 1,000s of articles are written by ghost writers. These companies are probably recycling their articles as well to the highest bidder at the time. I think that this **** of article has actually caused the entire sector to drop off in importance.

I now don't even post to ezine submission companies. I keep writing about sales and sales related topics and I just wait for the search engines to come find me.

If you write original content the relevant traffic that you seek will come find you in due time.

Silhouette,

Here is a list of directories, » Articles Directories List: Ordered by Alexa Rating They have worked very well for me. You can down load the google tool bar with page rank on it. Or I believe you can get a pr tool here in this forum. I'm just not sure where it is.

Thanks for the link Frank, the Google toolbar also has an accurate PR tool to it so that can help out as well.
