Default Offline Business

Hi,

I was just wondering how many off you started an offline business that you have now brought online.

What were your reasons for doing so?

Kind of the reverse of it, but we're starting an online business (selling t-shirts) that is starting to go more offline (as far as sales and marketing).

I have a friend that ran a bricks and mortar business selling custom made clothing, but it was too expensive to keep up her shop, so she closed it and continued the service online. She is doing quite well from it, and it has given her more free time since she isn't always tied to the shop.

I've never run any offline businesses. I hope to some day, but just haven't had any good ideas just yet.

No, never.
To be honest i would not know how to run an offline business.. that requires "real" business skills. Skills that are quite different to what you need to run a biz online.
