Default Outsource or employee

It would be nice to know how many people have employees working for them.

Even if you don't currently employ anyone, presented with an increasing volume of work that you cannot individually cope with, would you outsource or employ?

Both - I employ full-time staff from a company in India.

As well as the obvious financial benefits, I actually find it much easier to manage than when we have had staff here in the office.

I haven't had employees actually in our company for awhile now. Once we started offering Web hosting, we partnered with a company based in Florida, UK, and Bulgaria - they handle the technology, customer service, and billing aspects of the business, and I handle marketing and operations.

It actually works very well, by freeing myself up to focus on the aspects of Web hosting that I know best.

(The only other employee we did have in the company was a VP of Marketing, who left about six months after we launched.)

Hi,very glad to meet you here. As successful business man as above friends. Did you have any experience of selling Made-in-china products? How did you source products from Chinese markets? Do you need any help? I live in China. Except selling our own products, I also offer professional products sourcing service, translation service, guide and secretary service here in china. I believe your business will thrive under our professional service support!

^^ Hoping that's not spam... just asking?

BTW... I mainly plan to outsource... I mean, its somewhat "bad" to the people here in America (some have good rates, then again, some thing, wow, let me do this and that and delay time to make money... then some are honest and straight to the point.)

^^I hope it's not spam, I replied to one of his thread with good intention and feedback :\

I have never reached the stage where I had the decision of outsourcing or not, but if it came to it, I would try as much to keep it in my country instead (and be the nice guy )

Since that is the second of his posts I have seen with near identical content, I am afraid I think it is spam!

When the work loads do exceed my capacities, I would prefer to outsource it to others rather than getting my own employee(s). One main reason is due to the fact that if I do get my own employee(s), the payroll cost would be a monthly recurring cost to me even if my busines income going down in certain period of time. This is not a good option for me yet. Well, I have yet to foresee that my business income would be consistently stay stable all year long!

We have not had the increased business load to outsource as of yet, however I believe we will when the time comes. We would also stay within the country, but that is based on the business we have (financial planning) and the certifications and regulatory issues that just overwhelm us at times to keep up with. Can't imagine having to deal with someone who's not has to be familiar with our country's but theirs as well!

When my businesses grow beyond me just being able to handle them (hopefully!), I plan on enlisting my children into slave labor and tossing a few dollars their way every once in a while.

No... I think I would be much more apt to hire someone - for my type of business (retail/wholesale), I would probably just hire some teenager to do packing/shipping for me - that would be the first step.
