Please share your thoughts about what does it take to be an internet success.

Rome is not built in one day, so strive to make effort each day and you will see success at the end of the day.

What does it take, good question. I think it takes hard work, help from others and some luck to go with it.

I think you have to be willing to let things grow over time. Too many people are looking for that "get rich tomorrow" program, which only works if you are the one who devises the program.

I sit down every weekend and decide what I'm going to do to market my website/novel/writing skills during the next week. That might mean submitting articles to EZine, contacting bookselling sites about carrying my novel, coming up with ideas to enhance my website, joining and posting in X number of forums...whatever. Then I try to spend at least an hour a night doing it. I've seen slow growth, but it IS growth.

I think it takes dedication and hardwork. I'm not trying to get rich, I'm just trying to make a decent income so that I can afford to stay home with my kids.

All of the attributes listed above make sense, although they are a bit vague. There is one major thing missing though: knowledge. You can have all the creativity in the world, you can be the most goal-oriented person - unless you know how to put this into real life applications success is very, very far away.

Like anything else worthwhile it takes time.. patiense and consistence
Just remember if you do one thing halfway
you will do everything halfway
