Smile What would you include in a small business toolkit

Hi I'm redeveloping a kit that I have previously offered my existing design clients.

Currently it consists of business plan templates, forms, graphic templates, small business guide, and free hosting.

Any thoughts on what I can do to enhance or improve it.

Thank you very much.

I'm dead tired and I'm going to sleep, but the first thing that popped out is to include some case studies of previous work you've done. People like to see what you've actually done besides just templates and forms.

You mentioned business plan templates. What about templates for letters, contracts, plans, policies and spreadsheets etc.

You could also have checklists/action plans for tons of stuff for example planning, forming, and marketing a company.

I would include a link or file to their states (in the US) legalities regarding running your own business.

How about some tutorials/ebooks/reports on SEO & marketing -- although maybe that is included in your small business guide.

I would think a general marketing guide, targeting both print and internet. Stick to the basics of what would be applicable to any type of marketing campaign.

Depending on how big your scope is, maybe even have some softwares that will help design templates and others.

In line with everything else that you mentioned, something else worth adding would be business cards.

If your going to offer some iscnetives or bonuses... I'd say maybe something free (like offer them a free DBA name, they run about $20-$100 *maybe more* pending on your state location.)
