Default Why you must have a website! Why you must have a website!

Internet marketing research firms predict that the number of online consumers will grow at a rate of 30 to 50 percent over the next few years. These numbers alone should be enough to persuade you that your business should have a website.

My business is very small, just me and two employees, and our product really can't be sold online. Do I really need a website?
A: That's a good question. In fact, it's one of the most important and most frequently asked questions of the digital business age. Before I answer, however, let's flash back to the very first time I was asked this question. It was circa 1998, during the toddler years of the internet.

Yes, It's almost necessery have a website in order to "make" traffic over your products. By the way, I'm thinking on "study" how to do a website, because I really don't know (Loooot of things to learn)... Do you know about some tutorial that explains how to start? I know it's no the subject of this post but if you could help me thanks a lot!

See you

Even if it can't be sold online, a website is a good thing to have because it readily gives information about your product and company to viewers online. It makes you searchable and people nowadays are looking in the net to find what they need and want.

I agree. Even if your product isn't sold online, you need to have an online presence. With how huge the Internet community is now, you can generate a lot of new customers for your business.

You just have to know the proper marketing avenues to send relevant traffic to your site. i.e. geographical adwords targeting, using long tail keywords, etc.

A good website isn't hard to build, especially if it's just a static site meant to provide information.

With more and more people buying items online and shipping them wherever they need to go it only makes sense to me that anyone with a business now would need to go online in order to survive. I rarely go shopping for anything, besides groceries, only because it's a lot easier to just sit at my computer for 10 minutes, order a few things, and have them delivered to my door a few days later. I don't have to fight traffic, rude people, weather issues, or anything else that could happen when you are out and about running errands.

I feel that not too far down the road a lot of businesses will close their doors and only items online, because in the long run it will probably be cheaper for them to do so.

Plus taking your business online is only going to attract more customers.
