Default Is Adsense worth the trouble?

I have heard horror stories again this week, aobut people having their Adsense accounts deleted because of click fraud. It seems their rules are so tight that you can do nothing to boost your clicks. When I compare this to running Adbrite ads, adbrite seems the easier and more equitable of the two systems.

Am I misunderstanding how Adsense works?

Well, it is done so that people make money. You have to get people to the sight. You can't make them click. Most of this guys think adsense and see dollar signs. If you keep playing games the rules get tightened. It becomes harder and harder and soom there will be no adsense.

Well, if you think you're a target of click fraud you can report them to goggle ahead of time and they'll not ban your account but just remove fraudulent clicks. :-)

Yes Google is very strick and if they found such a click fraud. You are banned from that. I think all webmaster must use adlogger which is best to trace such a clicks. Than you can send mail to Adsense.

On the Internet these days you have to protect yourself since many of these companies consider you guilty until proved innocent. With any of the ad sites, they don't take that much time to set up on your page and are good for a little extra income. Not enough to live on or make your fortune; just a little extra without much work. If you have a lot of traffic coming to your site you can do a little better.

Just wondering if adsense really pays much and if it is worth having on anyone's site. How much can a site really get out of adsense?

This kind of reminds me of the Zoobie video post in the Success Stories & Videos section. Check it out people it's a cool comic video that shows how adsense really screwed a teenage burger flipper wanting to make some quick cash.

Ether way, I think Yahoo Publisher is still better. They pay more and they arn;t as strick. CTRs seem to be better for me too.

The $100 payout is very frusterating. I wasn't able to hit it and basically gave them all $80 of my earnings.

If your website is still new, do not rely on your Google Adsense earnings. From experience, I've earned more from blog posts than from Adsense. If you read testimonials that they are earning thousands from AdSense, your question should be how long and what have they done before they get to earn such amount. So you should have other means of earning from your site other than Adsense.
