You are talking about rankings. First of all if you are selling a product just market it. the ranking will come as you develop returning customers and backlinks.

They are mostly paid directories and listed in order of page strength.

Thanks Epiphany for link of Strongest Directories. There are many directories there and some of them are free ones too and some are very cheap for me.

I think I should use one or two high Page Strength directories.

Dang, I tought they were free lol. I really want to increase the PR of a site I just bought. Are theer any free high PR directories that will gurrenty me a good PR?

Well after your website in search engine you can ensure that your site will be there even you stoped use of those directories. You can also do samething without directories but you should know SEO better.
