Thanks both of you for giving the useful list. If you are serious about directory submiiting, you all may use directory submitter v2. This not free , but very useful. You can get over 900 directories.

All the articles that I have submitted have taken at the most 3-5 days to get accepted and published. I have not had one go more than 1 week.

Do free dictionaries or free advertising work?I have found it difficult to earn anything from free advertising.I am almost giving up on affiliate marketing.

According to many online professionals, submission to directories can improve page ranking but this is also dependent on many other factors like the PR of the page where you site was listed.

I have read quite a bit of information that says that it is not really worth the time to submit to free directories. Some say that these sites are not such that really help with PR.
