Cool Proven 3 Mehtods To Get Listed In DMOZ

Hi guys,

Just wanna start this thread to get fresh opinions about DMOZ, ODP. As we all have already knew, DMOZ listing has always been a target for webmasters due to its PR 8 and free listing.

However, for those who have tried submitting, 90% would realize that it is not the submission that is hard but the NO-Information & Elitist approach by DMOZ editors that makes DMOZ submission process so frustrating

Hence I would like to share this 3 PROVEN methods for anyone to acquire a listing in DMOZ directory

(1) Buy an expired or dead domain. There are so many dead links from dead domain listing that exist in DMOZ directories. Due to the extremely busy DMOZ editors, they have no time to update their own directory. So just go surfing into Websites Selling Domains and search for an expired domain with a DMOZ listing. Yep, that simple

(2) Subscribe to DMOZ submission services. There are a few companies out there providing this service. You may like to try one I recently subscribe to get my DMOZ listing - Guaranteed DMOZ submission listing service within 21 days - MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

(3) Compensation bargain with DMOZ editors. Just go to DMOZ editors page and email to them. Inquire about something and keep in contact. Once the rapport is there, surface your proposal. Its time consuming but its workable.

Hope this will be a good start for DMOZ discussions

Cheers

Cool Re: Proven 3 Mehtods To Get Listed In DMOZ

Are you confident about this procedure being successful. If yes how???.I have been attempting to get listed for the last six months in DMOZ unsuccessfully. The submission process is as follows. You read the rules and guidelines and submit your website to the directory manually.Once the submission is done a message is flashed across the screen that reads "Your submission has been approved .It will be reviewed by an administrator before it is added to our list."After this is done another message props up as a hint saying that for quicker reviewing of your website it is advisable that you sign up as an editor to dmoz as the review might take up to 4-6 weeks.Signing up as an editor will get the review done faster.Once you sign up as an editor the message is flashed again saying "your request will be reviewed by an already existing editor before being accepted."This might take upto 4-6 weeks.
As it is I am tired and have lost ideas as to how I could get my website listed on Dmoz. Kindly help me.

I have also tried my luck in DMOZ. Until now I haven't received any email informing if my website had been approved or not. I know that it will take time before DMOZ editors can review my site with so many submissions everyday it will probably take a year or so to get listed in DMOZ.

I am not so sure though if buying a dead domain is a good idea for me. I don't want to take that kind of risk.

I still believe that patience is still a virtue.
