I think it can affect your rankings You'll probably have the same option as we do here in germany with google to choose if you want to see websites worldwide, websites in your language or websites from your country.

Try it and see what domains show up... at least the rankings change with the different options I choose here.

The domain name you choose is really important. For example, I bought enhancementpenile dot com and it gets traffic even without SEO (I have NEVER touched this site).

And my first website was healthelper dot com and it never got any traffic at the beginning. I had to do some SEO to start seeing some traffic coming.

Choose your domain name very carefully.

Its very true that your domain name says a lot in SERP, especially if it has the keywords you optimize for. But keep in mind that rankings tend to drop if you don't do any quality linkbuilding (offpage) and optimize your pages (onpage).

Altogether, the right domain name, content and SEO will yield you favorable results

Yeah, that's very true
Domain name is most important in terms of SEO, if you get a domain which is keyword rich then you have almost win the race, all you need to do is to dressup it with quality backlinks and good content.

Keyword in domain name is one of the important factor for getting better position at Google, but you also need to feed it with other onpage and offpage factors to maintaining it's position.
