Default Any suggestions for a menu program?

I'm looking for a new menu program to use on websites. Does anyone have any suggestions of one that is inexpensive and easy to work with? I'm pretty proficient in HTML but not super techie, so I don't want something that has a lot of incompatibilities or requires a lot of customization. Just something that looks slick and performs well. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Check up Dynamic Drive for javascript codes for menus. Some of them look pretty slick and most are pretty easy to install.

Neuromancer,

Thanks - I will check that out. I've come across a couple software programs that look pretty good (and easy) but they are a little pricey. I may still spend the money but would like to find a lower price alternative first, so am anxious to look at your recommendation. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Be careful with those menu programs. It's better to go with a script you have control over.

Thanks to all for the advice. I agree with having control over the script although some of these slick programs are a temptation since it would get me up and running fast. I've come across a couple scripts thought that have potential so will be trying these out first.

I had a javascript one that I can't think of the name. Everything looked good until you uploaded. What a nightmare.

Many of them are quite flexible and allows for some degrees of tweaking. And yea I also had problems with the 'Everything looked good until you uploaded' haha..but for my case it was because i had to use a n00b host lol.
