Hi MXER ... I can't help you out (couldn't design my way out of a paper bag) but another suggestion is the SitePoint Looking to Hire forum. There are a fair number of designers who frequent it and usually the quality is quite good for very cheap prices. Lots of people there are just building a portfolio, so you can often get a lot of good options to choose from. Just a suggestion ...

SitePoint.com is very good for hiring people. Also, as for their portfolio as some of the people are new to designing.
