Hey Corey, can you give me the link to Expression Web? Seems that it would be useful to me. Thanks very much for sharing.

Dreamweaver is probably the best program out there in my opinion. You don't get lost in this program, it is very straightforward and the support section is very helpful for first time users.

I totally agree with you. Dreamweaver 8...and in fact the whole package..Studio 8 is the best package out there. I just wonder what Adobe is going to do with it...

Yep Dreamweaver really helps me a lot in my work. I also use Photoshop and Macromedia Flash sometimes, the GIMP editor on Linux is also quite easy to use and produces quality results.

I use Adobe CS2..and I heard that CS3 will be out in the spring..not the beta version..you can download that from their site. I also heard that Dreamweaver is the only thing included in the package..not Flash.

I just wanted everyone’s opinion on Flash..do you think that this program is no longer fashionable or popular? I know a lot of people get annoyed at flash presentations..after the first time, they bypass it, so why spend the money on getting a pricey design done?

I find Photoshop and Dreamweaver are the solutions many use. Regarding graphics I have started using GIMP which is also a good solution. For basic users like myself I think GIMP is worth taking a look.

I think the style guide for web 2.0 is to keep it as simple as possible. Not all people have Flash, so reduces the number of audience. Personally, I only use Flash when I must, as a tool rather than as a decoration.
