Default Hiring

For those of you who have hired freelance coders, have you ever been that impressed that you have offered them a full time job.

Most freelancers I have worked with have been utterly useless, so no.

I usually outsource to the same guys I get my hosting from now. I don't have the budget to employ anyone full time, but whenever there is money spent on jobs I can't do myself, they'll be the ones getting it.

I basically did something like this. I was having someone freelance for me as a web designer and now he works basically full-time on any job I give him. There's no other reason to look elsewhere for web designers, because he's always there and reliable.

sorry to be off-topic but just to reply to your thread, baby boy, is there any site you know that hires data entry/online assistants aside from scriptlance and getafreelancer.com?

If you sign up for oDesk, your sure to get a lot of jobs. Although I have an account there as a buyer, I'm thinking of a second one for my osCommerce and phpBB skills (which they clarify as an category of its own on there.)

Other then that, not sure, you can also try iFreelance.com

Thanks for that link, I have already gotten 2 links of possible sources for freelance jobs, odesk and talkfreelance. Gotta visit those sites one of these days and will keep you updated.

Oh and one more would be SitePoint, although you have to pay to advertise your services, you can get some good revenue connections there for people looking for work. Hope I've helped...

Now back to the regular topic
