Default How to use iFrame Tag?

Ok experts here! I am finding my site often tend to load slower and slower. I fond out from my host that it isn't due to bandwidth problem as my hosting plan has a generous bandwitdh which is 200GB. I barely used 30% of it every month, so it isn't even close to the limit.

Then, looking at the RAM for my plan. It is guaranteed 256MB for me. And this is where the main problem. In most instance, I am drawing close to 500MB of RAM usage from my server, as pointed ut by my host. Yes, the server has a burstable RAM of 2GB max. But when everyone else is trying to grab the RAM, my site will encounter some serious lag.

Then I come across about iFrame tag. If I digested it correctly, iFrame tag will sort of speed up the oading time, as it seperate the content within the tag as another connection. Now, how should I go about this :-
1. I would like to dislay a total of 8 banners into the iFrame tag. These banners are the main culprit for my server slow loading time!
2. Also, I wanna use iFrame tag to display contextual ads. This is also another major culprit for slow load time.

How should I go about it?? Anyone kind to guide me? I know this is pretty long post, but I think I "managed" to explain my situation clear.

<iframe src="yourlink.htm" frameborder="0" name="banner1" width="YOUR WIDTH HERE" height="YOUR HEIGHT HERE"></iframe>

Use that tags, it is true that iframes can make your site faster but then again, not everbody has frames enabled or a frame-enabled web browser. Its very complicated, but you could go to http://www.w3schools.com and read up on it as there is much more then you think.

As baby boy states iframes is really not a good overall method to use. There are other alternatives. Do a google search on alternative to iframes.

emm...what about using "table" tag?? or something like "div" tag?? My apology as I am not good in this and coding issues. Currently I has seek the apporval from other site owner to use their banner via hotlinking which should be using their server's resource.

I hope this will be able to speed up my site's loading time...or I am still stuck even using this method??

I agree that frames is not the way to go. Not only do some people not have them enabled, but I hear they are not indexed by search engine spiders.

I would suggest cutting down on the banner ads on your site, or optimizing the images to make the file size smaller. Or get yourself a different hosting plan and move everything.

I don't know too much on why frames are hated...but frames ARE hated; I would go against using them, for all the above reasons and more...
