Default Web Application Security

Good day.

I've been developing a new website from scratch, and I found I'll be needing a login form. I thought I just needed to create a database for it, and that everything was going to be easy, but I started reading about SQL injections and script injections and a lot of security issues.

My question is: could anyone please recomend me a book, an ebook, a forum or any information source where I can learn about all of these security problems?

Any suggestions are welcome. I'm making the website in ASP.Net (thus in IIS).

Hey Rephrase. You may be better off looking into a CMS system, or a pre-programmed website package. Some are free, some are cheap, and most are easy to set up and configure. I say this since it is your first time with SQL. This way, you can learn and go from their. Otherwise, I'd recommend the "_____ for Dummies" series. Even try searching the net.

Hmm... I'll try downloading a pre-programmed website, but I really want to do everything in my website. I'm a computer engineering student, so I'm interested on learning how to do it all.

Anyway, I guess it'll be fine if I download an already made website and learn from it.

Can I get any suggestions on where I can download it?

Thanks for your advice.

Well, it depends what "backbone" you're looking at working with. Wordpress, dreamweaver, etc., are just a few. Just do a google search for Wordpress skins or dreamweaver skins. There are some great starting points.
