"Heir Jordan"

I use it at a lot of sites that host free personal pages. (myspace, xanga, etc.)

As you can see, it kind of stuck with me. However, I caught myself using the 'Air Jordan' logo on a background design and it raised the question on legalities of this name.

It's pronounced the same, it's just obviously spelled different. I highly doubt Nike/Jordan Brand would care if it's not generating revenue of any type. But is there ANY legal risk using this name?

I don't see why not, all though Air Jordan (if trademarked) could be a legality problem, I think (myself-own opinion)

Don't use their logo or styling; don't emulate their web site; don't sell shoes.

If you follow those three things, you don't have much to worry about.

As mentionned, I don't think it'll be a problem, unless Air Jordan finds that you are threatening his market with similar services or products.

^^ Yeah, and that's a tough market to tackle... trust me, and the funds for it, you'll need desperately a WHOLE LOT of funds to make the shoes, design them, market them, etc. Ha ha
