Default Drupal

Has anyone used Drupal? I keep seeing people talking about it and it's what the guys over at This Week in Tech (TWiT) use. They talked about it in their last podcast, so I thought I would see if you guys use it and what your thoughts are. Leo seems to love it.

I tried it for a while, to be honest I wasn't that impressed - its an OK CMS, but I prefer to build web sites from scratch personally.

It is decently customisable, and it is easy to install and use. It depends what you want it for really.

I've used Drupal on my personal page and have written a bit about my experiences with CMS

I like Drupal. It's much easier to skin than Wordpress and does more out of the box as well.

I've never tried Drupal, but a lot of people swear by it. I'm guessing that it gets the job done and that it's fairly customizable. I do agree with feros that Wordpress seems to be able to do more with less extensions. I believe that Drupal requires a lot of extensions and 3rd party development.

However Joomla seems to be a better choice with less bugs and more user support.

I don't know much about Drupal considering I have only played with it but I much prefer something like Joomla.

Yes, Joomla is very good. There are lots of skins and plugins available also.

I would look into Joomla if you are interested in drupal at all. Joomla is a bigger community and offers more add ons.
