Default Google Analytics Invites

I finally got my Google Analytics invite yesterday. It took from about the day it opened until now to get me one. I haven't used it much yet, but I'm planning on playing around with it a bit tonight or tomorrow. I'm very familiar with Urchin, so if it's anything like that (and I think it's the same) then I'm sure I'm going to love it.

Yes, it is exactly the same as Urchin from what I hear. I have submitted two requests now (one when it was introduced and one a few days ago), and still haven't received an invite! But anyway, let us know how you like it!

I received mine 2 weeks ago
It took me a good 3+ months to receive after applied under 5 different email addresses.
I am finally in though, and it waiting for me to implement. When I finish my exams of course
Anyone knows how long you have to wait, before being able to use IT from one than 1 websites?

Just submitted a request for an invite, guess we'll wait and see, but I hope Google slows down cause they are still developing out GMail and such in the BETA stages, God knows when they'll release their first product WITHOUT a BETA stage.

I've had it from the start, it seems to be a quite good traffic program! However I don't use it on all of my sites.

Google uses BETA and invites so people WANT their product and don't just HAVE it.

I used analytics for less than a week and then stopped using it. There are too many menus to navigate around and it only shows graphs of my awstats stats.

Do you have any specific reason for not using Google Analytics on certain websites?

Eh, not sure why people are begging for invites and what not. I think Google emailed me about it in their newsletter, I clicked, signed up and I was in straight away, no waiting around lol. I feel sorry for you who have to wait or have only just got one. I've had mine for a long while now .

I like it a lot, I don't really check the stats as a daily routine, I have ShortStat on my blogs and I have AwStats to check also, but I check now and then, they have a nice set-up and I like some of the data they give you.

Is there any other good self-hosted analytics programs, I feel more secure and more accurate with the results from a sel-fhosted analytics program, but I guess Google is worth a try.

On the topic of BETA's and invites, you've gotta admin, it DOES get boring and is losing its touch of the holwe "let's get a Google invite so we can see their NEXT big plan" era.
