But it doesn't look as pretty and professional as mint

There are so many free online site statistics software programs that I would have no reason to use a newcomer to the field.

Do they really offer anything that the others don't?

That's the only reason why the majority of people buy it. Because it looks cool and professional. It's just doing the same as x amount of other web stats, but you're being charged $30 for eye candy. Pointless.

From what I recall it's only one license per domain also, which is again crap. What if you have say 5 websites, you like Mint. No way in hell would you want to pay out $150 just so you can cover your sites. One license should be able to be used on multiple sites.

My problem with Mint (and any others that work like it), is that if you have a site with a good amount of traffic you'll end up having to buy additional hardware to be able to do the tracking, then the $30 cost of the software is nothing, compared to the cost of the additional hardware every month.

Better to have a remotely hosted solution with more redundancy, even if does cost a little each month.

I agree with Chris, 1 liscense should cover your entire network. What good is it if you have a network, but need to buy one liscense for each site? Useless!

I agree with you there. There should at least be a bulk discount rate like Microsoft does with its operating systems and other programs.

I disagree. When buying a site, I would prefer seeing AWStats over Mint.

It looks live a very interesting program. I'm not sure what it exactly is, I am going to look into it though.
