I don't use IE 7. I used it on my sisters computer and it acts too buggy. Always seems to freeze and never loads like you want it. I'll still with FireFox for now.

That is the exact reason I left using IT. I am an Opera user and it's simply a great browser. It's lightweight and have tons of feature other than browsing. I always work in 8-9 open tabs all the time without ever once being crashed out.

I've been a Firefox user for about 3 years and I really love it. Basically it's more stable and secure against attacks than IE, and it blocks pop-ups non-discriminately. The download process is also a lot easier and smoother than IE7.

I'm new to using firefox but I have to admit that I love it and use it a heck of a lot more than IE, I find it far more convienient with being able to work in multiple tabls.

It's an IE7 discussion but almost everyone here uses Firefox or Opera. Is IE loosing ground to these two?

I find Opera to use over way too much memory. It used like 60 some times 70MB of memeory. I found that insane.

Going by your experience it has to be said that it's insane. But my experience is somewhat different. I have never found any problem in Opera whether in Windows or in Linux. I have also checked the memory and found at 35-40MB. I think we have to check at a benchmark and then decide who takes more of our resources? To me memory is no problem, it is security and ease of usage.

Be it Opera or Firefox, I think most people who are net savvy and have some basic knowledge about security choose any of these two and not IE7. IE is now more becoming a standby browser which is just there in the system.
