| Moneybookers... Sorry if this is a repost - not sure if it is or not. If it is, please do a redirect for me, or point me in the right direction.
In my line of work, a lot of people want to order from my site - but at the moment, I am only accepting paypal. They have asked me if I have a moneybookers account, and unfortunately, I do not.
Does anyone have one? How is it? Would you recommend it? How are the rates? How is the "chargeback"/refund system that paypal is so notoriously awful for?
Thanks, any help/comments are greatly appreciated. |

| Re: Moneybookers... They're based in the UK ... don't know if that matters to you or not. I don't deal with them personally but here's a link to their list of fees for different transactions (changed to USD from the default Euros). http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help...e_currency=USD
Hope this helps. Maybe some of the members from the UK will know more about it and its reputation. I actually had only just heard about it, but nothing about what people thought of it. |

| Re: Moneybookers... I'll be honest...
From the look at those fees, if I understand them correctly (which chances are, I'm not), then it is more costly then PayPal.
It is different in the matter that you don't get deducted when you recieve money (which is probably a good thing), however, you get charged when you send money.
Would that mean that, the person who is sending you money, say they want to send you $75.00. You will only recieve $7x.xx ? because, though it doesn't deduct from you, it deducts from the payment, and since you recieve the payment, you get the deducted amount?
Not sure I'm understanding, and not sure I'm really buying into moneybookers any time soon.

| Re: Moneybookers... I have joined Moneybookers and the first time I tried to use it was when I wanted to fund an auto surfing program. Their procedure was that they required me to spend about $2 from my credit card, sort of a verification. Then they will give it back to you when you know the exact amount that they charged you. I wasn't able to fund the auto surfing program as I have not received my statement from the bank. When I got the exact amount, I went back to the site and they credited it to my account. But then I have to send the money to somebody or spend it online. I can't get a paypal account that is why I got moneybookers. Seems they are ok, as they accept credit cards for payment. I have tried alertpay but they can't process with credit cards. |

| Re: Moneybookers... ^^ Yeah, I checked AlertPay myself and realized that they are having issues with credit card processing. To me, in the bottom-line, them rates are sky high so I don't expect to use MoneyBookers ever unless their rates drop in a somewhat "small-substantial" amount.
P.S. Off topic, these auto-surfing sites... examples? |

| Re: Moneybookers... BabyBoy, an example of an auto-surfing site is www.trickledowncash.com. This is an industry in which you register as a member. If for free, you get credits just by surfing about 40 sites in a day (surfing means to let the different sites present themselves to you one at a time, but it is automatic, what you have to do is just to start surfing and watch out for the bonus credits and cash that appears every now and then). I strongly recommend trickledowncash because the webmaster, Miriam is really very kind and accommodating. If you join in as an upgraded member (just $1 to become one in TDC), your $1 will earn 2% everytime you surf. When your money reaches $15, you can have your payout. I also suggest that if you join auto-surfing programs, be sure to register also at the forum for auto-surfers: www.thesafelist.org because they are updated with all the trends in the business so that you will have less risk with your money. You can give this a try and watch for yourself what happens. I have already received money from TDC It is a simple way to earn. |

| Re: Moneybookers... OoOoOoOoO, OK, sort of like the little "Million Dollar" scams or whatever I've seen before. You view a site for a period of time and you get paid $1,000 for it... in the end when you so-called reach $1,000,000 they payout... what a big-a** scam (the Million Dollar site I mean)... stupid! |

I'm sure that the person BEHIND the whole Million Dollar scheme is quite pleased with it |
