Super Mod

A lot of businesses use ModernBill as their billing software. I used them for about a year until switching to a custom billing system. I found that they were really good, but that it was definitely a bit clunky and hard to configure. Has anyone used it recently? How is ModernBill nowadays?

I haven't used ModernBill in years. I do remember it to be pretty "chunky". It's definitely a really large piece of software. I did use WHM Autopilot for about 6 months. It wasn't bad, it got the job done. A lot of the big hosts prefer ModernBill over any other billing software simply because it has a ton more features.

It's quite expensive though, I do know that many hosts rent it and pay per month instead of buying a full license.

My host uses ModernBill. Im not keen on it as when I transferred my domains, they still showed up in ModernBill.

Now I dont know why this happened, but I just hope they dont plan on charging me for domain renewals even though I have transferred the domains somewhere else....

ModernBill seems to be the defacto standard for web hosts. I see like every single web host that doesn't have a custom system using ModernBill. The few others are using things such as ClientExec. I've never used either, but I guess MB must be good, because so many people are using it.

My web host uses ModernBill. I don't mind it at all. However, it's a bit complex to use from my end. I wish that they had some sort of custom software that was less complex, but it does get the job done.
