Default PayPal Invoicing

Does anyone use the invoice service on PayPal? I find it to be a very nice way to keep track of services I provide for clients and to receive payments.

I do . It's handy to see what they've paid, when, where from (email) and whatever else.

Hm. To be honest, I've never taken advantage of the invoice system. The only reason I would use it would be to give it to the clients to have for filing purposes.

I've been doing everything by hand through excel for a while now, and it seems to be everything I need. That way, I can have all the fields that I need, and all the extra tidbit information I want that PayPal set invoices just can't give to me...

I used to use the Invoice tool on PayPal all the time. It was great - easy to use and it calculated out the numbers for you too if you had a complicated list of things you were billing someone for.

But now I can't seem to get it to work for me anymore, so I've gone back to not using it. I don't know if there are a limit to the number of invoices you can keep on file as potential templates or what, but I don't seem to be able to get through the process any longer.

Anyone else having this problem? Probably just me being an idiot

Well, it sends an invoice to a customer three days before, they have the choice to renew or cancel, it sends another invoice on the day of if they've ignored it, and three days later it terminates their account if they haven't renewed by then and sends them an email to that affect. They then have the choice to log back in to their control panel at any time to renew their account.
