Is there a good website or company that you can recommend that will do custom eCommerce programs like CMS's? I'm looking for a company that won't cost too much, but will still offer you good stuff. Please let me know.

Custom eCommerce software? I would estimate that would cost anywhere from mid $x,xxx and up! I don't see any reason to have your own eCommerce software made, unless you need something really specific to your products.

As Max writes, it'll cost a lot to get custom eCommerce software done. I'm not really sure exactly how much and also from where you can hire from. However, if you have the budget it may be something to consider. Let us know what you do.

If you want custom, you cant just get a mainstream, freely available CMS

However you could always customise it, or better yet, pay big $$ to have your own eCommerce CMS custom made and coded.

I have a custom ecommerce system written in ColdFusion, and have spent thousands on it over the years adding features and improvements.

But a relatively simple ecommerce system could be done for around $1,500 if you outsource it to India.
