| Do you use 2Checkout.com? I never used 2Checkout.com and went straight to a "real" Merchant, however, I know a lot of people are very happy with 2Checkout. I had heard that they have dramatically improved their services in recent months as well as added new features. I was wondering if anyone here has used 2Checkout and what their experiences are with them? |

| If I'm being honest I signed up for a 2Checkout.com merchant account a couple of months ago as a client wasn't able to pay me any other way but via mastercard. I was quite impressed in the speed of the account setup and its interface, however the client backed out and I haven't had the pleasure of using the service just yet.
I'm curious to know more about the transition time from your 2Checkout.com account to your checking account or bank account. Some people have said it's a few days where as others have mentioned it sometimes takes 1-2 weeks.
If you have any information about this I'd love to know more. |

| I almost signed up for a 2CO account. I'd rather deal through paypal though, the 2CO rates our ridiculous.

| Max you raise a good point, however there's always the chance that a potential customer (maybe 1 potential customer, maybe 1000...who knows?) aren't able to use PayPal in their country of residence, so 2Checkout.com would be an excellent alternative for them.
Would you be willing to lose out on custom of any sort just because you don't like the idea that 2Checkout.com need to get paid as well? |

I now do 55% of all of my transactions through credit cards and only 45% through PayPal whereas before I signed up for a Merchant Account, I was doing 100% of my transactions through PayPal and sending customers away who didn't want to use PayPal. (I don't use 2Checkout.com, but it's similar to a "real" Merchant Account.) |

| The extended time it takes to receive your money with 2checkout can cause problems when you need to pay for bills. I feel it can be a pain when you have the money but are waiting for 2checkout to actually transfer it into your bank account! |

| Re: Do you use 2Checkout.com? I've used 2Checkout before and they were fine. They take a large fee, but sometimes you just need to take a credit card as payment and I'd rather use 2Checkout then not get that payment at all. I wish the fees were lower, but what am I going to do? |

| Re: Do you use 2Checkout.com? 2Checkout is a great system for people that want to take credit cards, but don't want to sign up for a real merchant account system. I've been using it for several years now and it's been great. I try to use PayPal more than 2Checkout, because it has slightly smaller fees, but when I have to, I use 2Checkout. |

That's not great, but it's not horrible. With a real merchant you get your funds within 2-3 business days. |

| Re: Do you use 2Checkout.com? I've never used 2Checkout, but I will if I ever need to take a credit card. However, I just heard that PayPal now takes credit cards in an easy way, so maybe I'll just look into that. I've heard good things about 2Checkout, though, so I'm not opposed to signing up with them. |
