Just to keep you guys updated: the transfer went through. Overall, I'm very happy with escrow.com -- it's a fairly safe method for selling a domain or website. They make it very hard for either party to be cheated.

That's great news, Max. I'm glad to see that the transfer went successfully as well as escrow.com being a good service. I've always planned on using it for big transactions, but I've never had an opportunity to as of yet.

I would never transfer more than $2k using Paypal. Although, it does depend on the situation. I wouldn't mind transferring more if I know the person. Aside from the added protection, the fees are much less.
