Google could really take it off with advertising and probably getting the bigger players in online sales such as eBay to use their system. I doub they will though. Since Paypal is owned by eBay, I doubt they will risk loosing buisness to Google don't you think?

Well I don't think that e-bay will use Google service because Paypal is owned by eBay so why they use other service option. I think Google payment processor will more popular or Google Adsense payouts.

Have you seen the thing where you can get 10 dollars off your first purchase? Sounds good if you're gonna get something cheap!

There's definately a minimum amount needed to activate your account. happened to me with adsense when I tried to use the $50 Adsense coupon. =/

Off topic:

If this is the case, then goodbye to paypal because its really a pain to recieve checks from google while having a automated system for payment and paypal's stupid policies.
BTW gcheckout is international or just like paypal?

Well Google Checkout is altrenative of PayPal but I still belive that PayPal is no.1 payment processor because Google Checkout is not big as PayPal and also less wesbite use this payment option.

If you watch Google Check out for a while before using it yourself, I bet you will see them developing the same policies as Paypal. I wouldn't jump into using Google Checkout yet. Give it about 3 to 5 years so things can settle down, so you don't get blind sided by the multitudes of adjustments they are going to make with their TOS.

One thing to consider with Google Checkout though is they have not maintained their PCI Compliancy. I would not even consider sending my customers over to something like this until they fix this

Good point. It took Paypal years to get where they are today and alot of learning happened that hasn't happened for Google yet.
