I bet they thought the "gold" concept would shield them from some of the legal issues they are now dealing with. I imagine there are many people from high risk countries that are scrambling to find another way to get payments processed from online activities.

I stopped using egold a couple of years ago because I didn't really have a need for it anymore. I guess I'm glad I did if this news is true. I don't think I'd feel safe with a company like that.

Well I know it since 2006 when my account has been hacked twice and their supports system did nothing to get money. Many people have issue with this payment system and I think this is wrost payment system for me.

Well almost all Get Paid To wesbites still use E-gold as a payment option and many other websites also use this payment method. But I suggest everyone please tarnsfer your E-gold funds to your banks or PayPal account by using exchangers.
