I agree with you, Mike C. A lot of people may be tired and too "lazy" to just switch to GBuy. Although, if the fees were to drop tremendously, they might have different thoughts.

I think Google could compete with PayPal for a payment processor. But there could be some question as to whether a lot of people would stay with PayPal because it is what they are used to and so many people already have accounts with PayPal.

I'm also enjoying PayPal's services. I have no problem with PayPal, whereas many do. I've never understood their complaints; it's because I don't have any myself. PayPal is doing a fine job. The one thing that ticks me off is the "flagging" of accounts. It always requires me to verify my credit card, even though I didn't register a credit card when I joined PayPal.

I have heard numerous complaints from ex-Paypal users and they even have a website that is dedicated to their hatred to it. Well, I'm not quite sure if I should use the word "hatred" but I think they do dislike Paypal to do that.

That's it right there. You'd definitely understand if your account was frozen for no reason, if someone one a dispute chargeback on you for now reason, and your account was closed for no reason.

lol. I'm willing to bet that at that point, I'd have a complete understanding.

John, I've seen that site. There're many testimonials and references posted on it. I've never really read any of them; like I said before, I haven't had a problem with PayPal so I'm not too interested.

I heared allot of stories about people not getting their money
Thoug me as a paypal user i can say its awesome,
Its quick and easy to use, the interface is great.
And its fine by me.

And yes kris google could indeed
I wonder if they will...
Then i would still check that out to see what they are like.
And still choose the best one with the best service

Mike, are you sure those emails asking you to verify your credit card are coming from PayPal? I get about 5 phishing emails a day telling me the same thing, but they're not for real.

Basically, unless the email addresses you by name like Dear Mike [last name], it's not from PayPal, but a fake. If you ever have any doubt, just forward the email on to spoof@paypal.com and they'll let you know if it's real or fake.

Hope the ones you've been getting are legit ... otherwise, let us know and I'm sure we can all give you some advice on what to do.

They're legit. I've received enough spam to know. Thanks for looking out for me, though! And thanks for the spoof email; I'll be sure to use that in the future.
