Default Xoom.com

Just would like to inform those who are living Asia, get Xoom.com. We are not yet fully serviced by Paypal so I usually ask my employers to pay me by xoom and these transactions worked all well.

Yes feline Xoom is one the best Payment processor in Asia and better than Western union. Their fees are lowered than Western union. You can deposit your money in your bank account or ask checks. Xoom is better option in compare with PayPal.

Is it reliable? I mean there are many sites which people normally don't have trust. is it worth giving your assets?

If the empolyers are in the USA, can they be exposing themselves to criminal charges by transferring money to restricted countries??

Paypal might restrict Asia ... this is the only way I remember when you say "restricted countries" but Asia has no reason to be restricted by any other payment processors. Many of the outsourced staff come from Asia and businesses are all willing and eager to serve Asians as they mean more money for them. Xoom is really great and I can prove that until now. They accept Paypal, credit cards and bank account payments to be sent to Asian staff.

Xoom acts like Western Union but with lower fees. Paypal may not be conducting business with some countries but it doesn't mean these countries could not transact business with US. Even if Xoom and Western Union will not be used, bank/wire transfers can be made so I don't think employers are exposing themselves to criminal charges as long as they are conducting legal businesses.

Well for Asia this is one of best payment service to tarnsfer your funds and also very secure one. I get money from PayPal checks in 15 to 20 days and sometimes it takes 30 days while Xoom transfer my PayPal funds in 3 business days and money was deposited in bank accounts. Their fees are also lower than other and exchange rate is also high than PayPal.
