Default eCrater

This isn't an online auction site, but I thought it might come in handy for those that don't like the fees from Ebay. Ecrater allows you to create your own online store, they have Paypal and Google Checkount integrated for you and you can also accept payments via mail.

All the products are loaded automatically to Froogle for you to help you get traffic and sales. It's a nice little way to have your own online store without all the fees.

Sounds like a great site. Can you use it with a third party online supplier, or do you have to have your own goods?

This seems like a great alternative to Ebay. The fact that you have to give half of your profits to Ebay in terms of fees can bring in a lot of people interested in joining this. I know some successful Ebay entrepreneurs and they always tell me how Ebay fees have wrapped a chain around their throats, and to beat the competition they are always lowering their prices, you have to get some sales rather than get none.

I still don't think the majority of online goods sellers will shift towards this idea because it means more management and more configuration needed for their website. With Ebay you can set up a store in under 5 minutes and they look very professional in my opinion.
