The Price Is Right

Before I list an item on eBay, I always search for similar items to see what their prices are. I don't want to price myself out of business or, worse, sell for a really low price and then realize that I've sold something valuable for next to nothing. Since I mostly list books, and the occasional DVD, I check prices on Amazon and eBay before listing. Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Sounds like you are doing it right. Just double check on books that your are pricing like for like. You don't want to let a first edition signed copy of Harry Potter go for what a used Harry Potter goes for....

Yes I also like to check how similar or identical items have performed on ebay. I like to check ebay's completed listings on specific items to see how the auctions ended. It also helps lets you know if a product is popular on ebay or not.
