 Article Writing
Article writing has been shown to be a very effective way to drive traffic to your site. People are always looking for information via the Internet, and those who write have a good chance of intercepting those searches and picking up some useful traffic.
That being said, it is expected that your writings will be your own. Your writings do not have to be original thoughts but can be a compilation of the research that you have done by gathering information from a number of different sources from which you develop your articles.
There are so many places to get your background material from such as Google, books, other articles, magazines and newspapers just to mention a few. The idea is to get different points of view on your subject matter, internalize your data and come up with your presentation on the subject in question.
There are a few mechanical things to keep in mind when you are writing an article. Keeping the articles brief and to the point. People don't want the "fluff", they just want to get straight to the point. Present the facts and leave out the commentary. Another thing to be concerned with is spelling and grammar. Some people say it doesn't matter, just present the article and don't worry about proper English. I disagree. I don't expect you to be an English professor, but I do think that passing your article through a spell checker isn't too much to ask.
Write clearly, be brief and to the point, keep your article in focus and above all pick a subject that interests you so it will flow smoothly out of your pen.
