You are right but, some times it is impossible to to know that whether the site is scam or not. Most of the time ,they demand registration fees for providing training materials. So, there is no chance to understand them before we pay the money. I can say from my experience that never pay for any job, only get paid .

I think there is a few sites where you can check out the 'obvious' scams. I can't remember the sites off the top of my head.

I suppose it's more a game of instincts do what you feel comfortable with. If you like the company and get a good feeling then the only way your find out is to either go for it or don't.

In my experience, the best policy is to check 'em out on forums. It's not hard to pick out the obvious company shill posts (if any) and you usually get a pretty accurate impression, though negative experiences are often overstated if anything.

I will not touch any online business that demands you pay upfront for anything, upgrade your "membership" or buy products to assist your status. It's important to check out forums or listen to what other people have said about their experiences with a certain affiliate program before jumping headlong into one.

That's good advice. Legitimate businesses have realistic expectations and don't charge upfront to find out more. There are no get rich quick schemes except for scamming others.

Really there are no "get rich overnight" companies that are not a scam, you have to look at that too... if they promise you that you will make a huge amount of money in a short period of time, stay away these are the companies that will rip you off blind.

Some of these scams seem to get better and better, but if something is too good to be true, or requires a fee, then beware!
