| New businesses advertising Hey friends,
Posting classified ads about your new businesses will naturally boost the chances of them being tapped them by potential buyers and that too in less time.
Bye for now. |

| Re: New businesses advertising Posting ads online will have instant exposure than posting in newspapers. Posting in fee based classifieds will be more beneficial than free classifieds, as the ads will be highlighted in paid classifieds websites!! |

| Re: New businesses advertising If it's a local business or of local interest, you could try Craiglist (free classifieds in most areas). However, for most online businesses, classified ads in a local paper probably aren't the best bang for the buck. |

I will add both suggestions to my to do list. |

| Re: New businesses advertising Depending on the business and the demand for the product or service, a local paper could actually bring a boost in sales, it also depends on local competition too. I don't much like online classifieds, at least the free ones since I don't think very many people go to the free classifed ad websites - unless it is for like a local paper that offers online ads or something. |

| Re: New businesses advertising Depending on where you live, there are also free local papers you can advertise in. We have the Phoenix New Times, owned by Village Voice Media, which owns papers in many cities. The New Times is pretty popular here, and the classifieds are free, and are also online. The New Times also does a Best of article which is well regarded in Phoenix, and includes local online businesses. Advertising in a local paper can help get your name out there, and it usually doesn't cost anything if you know where to look. |

| Re: New businesses advertising Easy to forget about the "old fashioned way" of doing things in this day and age. To be honest, I don't even read my Sunday paper anymore. I just look at the sales, coupons and horoscopes. And, oh, yeah, the first page of Parade. |

If you are going to do things the old fashioned way, just make sure they have the option to look up classifieds on the website. I bought a car through the Autotrader a few years back, and the owner was shocked to get my call because the ad hadn't printed yet... not in the print version. I found the car online and got there first (without knowing it). I would never buy a copy of the Autotrader, but I always look online - just like most these days. |
